Industrial Placement Students

Industrial Placement Students

Applications for placements from university students on Quantity Surveying sandwich degrees are warmly welcomed at Core Five. These placements could range from a minimum 52 weeks to an extended period taking you up to the start of your final year.

The experience you will gain from this period within industry will be pivotal to your final year studies and we hope that you will want to return to join us as a graduate upon completion of your degree.

As a student member of the RICS, you will join Year 1 of our Core Foundations training scheme and be able to use this period as experience within your APC training to become a Chartered Quantity Surveyor.

“My placement year at Core Five was extremely enjoyable and the depth and breadth of experience gained has proved a great opportunity to put into practice what I have learnt to date. This professional experience has also been of great benefit to my final year studies at University of the West of England.

I would very much welcome the opportunity to return to Core Five to continue my professional training!”
